Clans can be placed anywhere from Bronze III to Champion I.

Players should aim to acquire at least 8 Stars, as this makes them eligible to earn 100% of Clan War League Medals. How to get League Medals in Clash of Clans: Clan War League
Clan War League is a competition spread across 8 days, where your Clan has to fight 7 other Clans for supremacy. On the first day, each Clan Leader will have to select a roster of clan members. At least 15 members must be selected for War, but all 50 Clan members can participate over the course of the War. If players are not on the roster, they will not receive any Medals. It is essential to accumulate as many Stars as possible to boost the Clan’s rank.
To join a League, you must apply during the sign-up period at the beginning of the season. From there, just follow instructions by clicking on the Clan Wars button to get the necessary information on participating. It is recommended to participate in as many as possible CoC Clan War Leagues and to be an active clan member. This will make you visible to your Clan Leader and co-leader, who can reward you with extra Clash of Clans League Medals for your dedication. Once the War League concludes, Clans will get demoted or promoted based on their performance.
