Neon is in play!

Welcome to this week's AccountKings blog! In this issue, we will take a deep dive into a Neon Valorant guide. So, let's take a look at what she has to offer! The Neon Valorant agent was introduced in early 2022 in Patch 4.0. This interesting agent, code-named "Sprinter," has some exciting abilities, including an ultimate that is considered one of the game's finest. In addition, she is considered to be unique while still following a straightforward game plan, meaning she's an excellent choice for any player, even beginners. So, if you’re interested in the fun that’s available, why not buy Valorant accounts with Neon today?

Neon's skill ceiling is relatively high, meaning to truly benefit from her abilities, you'll need to master her movements. With this in mind, let's take a closer look at this fantastic Valorant agent, her role, abilities, strategies, and more.

Valorant Neon Role - What is it? How do we utilize it?

As a Duelist and the 6th to be introduced into the game, Neon excels at the heart of the action, something that teams often heavily rely on to finish assists and secure kills. Excitingly, Valorants Neon can amp up her speed, serving rather well in battle, allowing her to change attack angle and escape danger where needed. Her basic abilities also allow her to control areas, setting up attacks for her teammates.

Valorant Agent Neon: Abilities

For this segment of the Neon Valorant guide, we will review Neons Valorant's abilities. Starting with her passive ability.

Energy - both Neons' signature and ultimate ability consume energy. Energy can be replenished over time, though killing an enemy will restore energy by 25 in an instant.

Next, in the ability segment of our Neon Valorant guide, we have Basic Abilities.

Fast Lane - The first of Valorant agent Neons abilities fires two parallel lines of energy spaced three meters apart. Once they make contact with a surface, they will erupt into walls of electricity; these walls will block vision and deal damage. If enemies pass through these walls, 30 damage per second is dealt. This attack lasts 6 seconds, meaning a possible 180 damage can be dealt. This ability costs 300 credits and acts as a "vision blocker."

Relay Bolt- Using this ability will see your character throw out an energy bolt. This bolt will then bounce off any surface, electrifying and unleashing a concussive blast that inhibits vision and fire rate. These concussive blasts will occur where the bolts bounce and land, applying maximum damage.

Neons Relay Bolt costs 200 credits, acts as "Crowd Control," and lasts for a total of three seconds.

Next, in this Neon Valorant guide, we're going to touch on Neons Valorant Signature Abilities.

High Gear- Increases Neon's speed, though this does come at the expense of equipping weapons. By carrying out an electric slide with ALT FIRE, you deactivate High Gear. The ability to slide will be recharged with every two kills Neon carries out.

The cost of this ability is free and acts as a "Mobility" tool, with a maximum duration of 15 seconds.

The final of Valorant agent Neon's abilities is her Ultimate.

Overdrive - Activating this ability gives Neon a buff for a short time. When Overdrive is in use, it instantly refills energy and activates her High Gear with no charges.

Neon's Overdrive damage can be dealt in bouts of 22, slowly dropping off over time due to the powerful energy beam and its infinite range.

Activate to provide a buff to Neon for a short duration. Overdrive instantly refills her Energy and activates High Gear at the expense of no charges. Neon also is equipped with a powerful energy beam with an infinite range that deals up to 22 damage that drops off over time. The ability lasts for a duration of 20 seconds and costs seven ultimate points to activate.

Valorant agent Neons Abilities - Strategizing

For the next part of our Neon Valorant guide, we will be checking out strategies. Taking on the role of Neon from Valorant is an intense experience, as her personality requires an all-or-nothing approach. Taking on the position if you wish to play passively will do nothing for your experience, as kills not only help the team but recharge some of Neon's abilities.

Valorants Neon is an ideal character for players in solo queue, as she can go it alone, hunting enemy agents and branching off from the team. Unfortunately, this means you may have to change up your tactics to win play on a team, as the fun and games don't necessarily mean you're in for a win.

Another thing you need to take into account is managing your energy meter. Doing so is essential to playing this character, as keeping Neon's energy level consistent will allow you to use her High Gear ability freely. Aim to do so in short bursts rather than in extended periods, providing yourself with an easier way to conserve your energy. This ability is great when using the defensive approach, as you can make sharp movements through choke points, dealing some excellent damage to an unsuspecting foe. An additional benefit of this speed is that Neon can easily escape tight situations.

High Gear provides a last hope for many teams, as this speed allows for some quick and unsuspecting attacks. Not to mention it gives some great opportunities to gather intel, as you can fly into enemy territory and get some critical information.

For that last part, remember that you and your team will need to have excellent communication skills to pull off these attacks successfully. Keep in mind that while using the High Gear ability, Valorants Neon is unable to equip weapons; doing so will end the abilities run.

If you want to be an asset to your teammate, Neon's Fast Lane is an excellent ability to utilize. The perimeters of this ability cover an entire room/area, meaning they act as excellent vision blockers. Additionally, the foe will be hesitant to cross these walls, as they will receive damage. In case of a choke point, this ability also provides excellent opportunities. You can block enemy vision and prevent a head-on attack by placing the walls so that they cover both sides of a choke point.

You can also experience some excellent battles when using this ability in a tight squeeze, such as alleys, stairways, and corridors, using it to cut off enemy safe points and grab some easy kills.

Fortunately, those who are fans of going it alone will be glad to know Neon's Fast Lane can be beneficial when going solo too. You can experience great gameplay and risky escapes paired with High Gear.

Neon's Relay Bolt can be a powerful tool when on attack. The grenade-like ability possesses a bouncing train that can see the attack land in two separate areas, unleashing two concussing explosions. If you angle your shot to carry some air after its first bounce, you can create quite the area of destruction, allowing you a greater chance of grabbing several easy kills. When Relay Bolt is placed correctly, you can rack up an impressive list of kills, but be cautious when detonating these attacks, as the concussive blast will affect all Valorant agents in battle. This ability doesn't discriminate; you and your teammates can take damage.

When activating Neons ultimate, damage you can deal sets you as an almost unbeatable offensive asset in the battle at hand. When using Overdrive, you gain access to Neons super-speed, as well as the use of the unlimited range energy beam. Being in this state can allow you to take down your enemy's team, giving you an excellent way to end a round. Don't forget that this ability uses energy, so having a full meter is something you should ideally have.

How to counter Valorant agent Neons abilities

For the final part of this Neon Valorant guide, we'll take a look at Neons counters. If you're looking to play against Neon, you may consider doing so with Sage as your preferred Valorant Agent. Her walls can prevent Neon from advancing and prove difficult for her to make an escape. In addition, using Slow Orb can cut off her high speed during High Gear, making her an easy target due to her lack of weapons.

There are several other methods that can be used to slow down and stop this high-energy character; however, we believe Sage to be an excellent choice.
